This is a remote trek in the untouched region north east of Kathmandu, where the presence of tourists and trekkers is scarce. The region is easily accessible from the Kathmandu Valley. We will trek through lush bamboo forests and terrace rice fields as we head north towards the Tibetan border. We will encounter friendly and hospitable villagers of the Indrawati Valley including Tamangs. The Five Holy Lakes that we trek to serves as an important pilgrimage destination for Hindus during the summer. The maximum altitude of this trek is 14,000 feet.
